Scouting in the United States Virgin Islands has a long history, from the 1920s to the present day, serving thousands of youth in programs that suit the environment in which they live. As of March 1, The US Virgin Islands Council was merged into the National Capital Area Council

However… Camp Wall has their own fresh water collection cisterns, a backup well, and a backup generator for the property.  From the photos you can see where some roof panels were ripped off the trusses. Also, all of the tent frames were damaged. Those are the light green items that you see in the photo. The storm surge also left quite a bit of debris that needs to be cleared to allow proper grass to regrow.

The Good News: Camp Wall will be operational for summer camp 2018 Commercial Power is expected in December They only have 5 weeks of camp this year. The Florida Sea Base is starting a new Marine STEM program in 2018 and full launch for 2019 and 2020
