Recognition of inconsistent care delivery/skill levels in leg ulcer management, within Primary Care Lack of accommodation/time within practice to see patients Creation of leg shaped information leaflet and patient ambassador role Moving patient care from a non-clinical setting, closer to home Setting up the weekly “ Look After Your Legs” clinic 2003 Patient and public involvement with long term condition management. Patient empowerment via monthly support group
