Seeking Prisoners vs. 2. “…he might bring them bound to Jerusalem…” Saul was consenting to the death of Stephens and other disciples, Acts 8:1-2. He was making havoc of the church. “Haling men and women committed them to prison,” Acts 8:3. He had “great zeal, in persecuting the church,” Philippians 3:6. “You have been told how I used to live when I was devoted to the Jewish religion, how I persecuted without mercy the church of God and did my best to destroy it.” Galatians 1:13 GNT

A Hot-Headed Denier vs. 1 “…Saul…breathing threats and murder…”
Seeking Prisoners vs. 2. “…he might bring them bound to Jerusalem…” He said also: “I myself thought that I should do everything I could against the cause of Jesus of Nazareth.,” Acts 26:9. GNT “I received strict instruction in the Law of our ancestors and was just as dedicated to God as are all of you who are here today. I persecuted to the death the people who followed this Way. I arrested men and women and threw them into prison. The High Priest and the whole Council can prove that I am telling the truth. I received from them letters written to fellow Jews in Damascus, so I went there to arrest these people and bring them back in chains to Jerusalem to be punished.” Acts 22:3-5.

Piercing Revelation “…who are you…?...I am Jesus…” "Before, Saul had not really heard the voice of God. He had listened only to the voice of religion and the world. But now he heard a different voice, a voice with power and authority that shook him to the core of his soul. *This same voice had spoken the world into existence. This same voice had called to Adam in the Garden of Eden. This same voice had spoken judgment upon Satan the serpent and all of creation as a result of sin. This same voice had spoken to Moses on Mount Sinai and given the Law. This same voice had spoken to Lazarus and raised him from the dead! This same voice had raised the Window’s son at Nain. This same voice had caused the soldiers to fall backward in the Garden of Gethsemane. This same voice had cried out, 'it is finished' as he paid the price to redeem us on the cross." James May

Questionable Schizophrenia “…hearing the voice…” In the very thought of Jesus His presence can be found He is as Close as the mention of His name There is never any distance between my Lord and me He is as close as the mention of His name In my hour of struggle so many times I’ve found Just to breathe the name of Jesus can turn everything around He is as close as the mention of His name. Things to remember and Practice
The devil has no respect for sex, color, race, or age – he seeks to kill, steal and destroy anyone. Just in case you are unsure, let me help you – you are on the devil’s list. Have you had the supernatural experience of knowing that something much greater than reality itself was close by? The brightness of Jesus can tenderize the toughest of hearts.
