Using the periodic table
Information on the periodic table… Metals/non metals? Other relevant information that you have been using
3
Ions vs Atoms Whats the difference? What are they made of?
Other comparisons…analogies
4
History of the Atom May need more than one page
Include relevant information and visuals. Important scientists and theories
5
How to draw the Bohr model
May want to include how to draw the lewis model? How can you find the information to make it Are there rules you follow when you draw?
6
Ionic Compounds Probably two pages What are they
How do they make their structure? What are their characteristics How are the name from the formula and visa versa
7
Molecular Compounds Probably two pages What are they
How do they make their structure? What are their characteristics How are the name from the formula and visa versa
8
Acids Probably two pages What are they
How do they make their structure? What are their characteristics How are the name from the formula and visa versa

Things to consider Your information should be clear and concise. May want to shrink fonts to add more information, but you want to be careful not to add too much that it makes it overwhelming Diagrams should be clear and not overwhelming. They should support your information and clearly link to what you are writing (cite all links on a reference page) You are going to be tracking your iterations as you get feedback from teachers and peers. Think of a good way to keep track of what you have adapted. Would this resource help you learn and or study for chemistry? The goal is a useful student made study guide, to show others how it is you learn
