Monday August 22, 2016 Agenda Message: Today we start the introduction of the Southwest Asia in terms of geography, and major bodies of water. Social Studies Progress Reports go home September 1st. STANDARD: Locate selected geographic features in SWA including rivers, seas, gulfs, oceans, straits, and canal. Essential Question for Monday August 22, 2016: What is the most prominent land mass in the SWA? What type of place is it? Warm-Up: Describe how location affects a society’s economy, culture, and development.
