Overall Goal: Develop a community-based Vision Plan for the North Richmond shoreline with a particular focus on the upland transition zone, environmental justice and climate resilience
Objectives/Methods
Conduct outreach and collect feedback from community members to improve understanding of current human uses of the shoreline and concerns affecting it
Through a community-based process, identify multi-benefit project opportunities with a focus on environmental justice

5. Components of the Shoreline Vision
Shoreline features analysis: Historical ecology, transition zones, parcel analysis, future shoreline including sea level rise
Community analysis: Demographics, land use & land ownership, recreation, environmental justice
Community trends and concerns: resident survey
Recommendations: future opportunities

June Stakeholder Meeting at Parchester Community Center – Community Mapping & Visioning
Shoreline Festival -- Our chance to share the Vision Plan with the community!

8. NRMAC Role in Process
1) Provide input to Vision Plan during May meeting
2) Attend watershed tour(s)
3) Provide feedback to draft
4) Endorse Plan and recommend County Board of Supervisors adopt/recognize/implement
5) Other ideas?
