I live in the heart of Edithvale with my wife and two children
Our house is diagonally across from Edithvale Station
I will be directly impacted by this project… for the rest of my life!
The Joy’s are my neighbours
As is another committee member (Susan Heggie)
We all actually live on Station St.
This is our crossing.
These are our houses.
To paraphrase as well-worn catch cry from a very popular Australian movie, these are our “castles”

Amenity of Residents
As an EES presenter at this panel who actually lives on Station St, and diagonally across from Edithvale Station, I think my position counts
I am happy with the EES and its findings
I believe the trench solution is the best option for both myself and my community.
I can count 3,000 active supporters who directly support me, and many more who do so indirectly

4. My own personal concerns
EPR GM1 – Pre Construction Condition Survey
I agree with this EPR and look forward to working with the LXRA to ensure local residents’ properties are not impacted by the project construction
EPR GM2 – Repairs to Property during Construction
If our properties are actually damaged, I hope they are repaired to the same condition as before construction
EPR SC2 – Respite and Relocation Policy
I agree with this EPR and want to ensure both ourselves and our immediate neighbours are accommodated adequately during construction
I want to ensure that this relocation policy includes family pets. If we are relocated, we need to ensure our pets are re-housed along with us, or in a dedicated animal shelter.
