THE PROBLEM Low-budget (and some high budget) music software does not orient it’s interfaces towards rhythm based musicians Song development can be a long and tedious process THE APPROACH Thesis on music theory and its implementation/effects on music software Design/Implement a music software package with “artistic controls,” oriented towards a user’s rhythm THE IMPACT Broaden the music software market through a less focused composition orientation Encourage music software evolution by trying new theories and orientations
