3 ¡¡Bienvenidos!! - Welcome!!
Take the handout from the 6th Grade tray in the front of the room. Sit at the desk with the same picture and color as the card I handed you at the door. Today you are going to: listen to & respond to a story told in Spanish. How many words from this song can you understand?

4 Your 1st out-of-class-achievement MISSION for Spanish!
1. Using any device with an internet connection, go to the NPCSD website. 2. Select “New Paltz Middle School” 3. Go into the Directory and click on my name. O'Malley, Lauren - World Languages 4. Open my calendar – It’s on the LEFT side of my page and looks like this: 5. Look at the calendar for Tuesday, Sept. 6. 6th Grade Assignments are in RED. 7th Grade Assignments are in BLUE. Follow the directions and complete by Tuesday, September 13th.

5 Ahora… - Now… Put your 1st Mission directions sheet in your planner or your yellow Spanish folder to take home and follow with your adults.

Story: Listen and Respond “aaahhhh” (interesting), “sí” (yes), “no” (no), “¡ay caramba!” (oh no!) Responses in Spanish (I ask in Spanish, you answer in Spanish) Responses in English (question words, “…en inglés?” ) Lost? “snap, snap, Time-out sign” until I see you. No blurts!
