6. THE REVIEW
All three of these movies have a lot of sex involved and for the most part is the main theme to all of them. They all have a different spin to their take on sex. Its so interesting how you can take one topic and put it in so many ways. We look at the movie, Dangerous Beauty and they show a girl dying for knowledge in a mans world. What’s her way in to what she wants…sex.
American Pie on the other hand takes a completely different look at sex. They look at it how most High School guys look at sex. Its that thing that is on the mind constantly. It’s a fun thing. There is no harm in it, no worry, just something that feels good. Not much thought into this movie. Its sex and they want it.
Juno is one of my favorites. It takes a very important lesson and helps us understand it in a very different way. Juno takes a very serious matter and puts a funny spin to it. Shows us how rough it could be to have a difficulty like that, but also how you can make it into a good experience. I’m all about making life what you want it.
