14 Scientific Method Notes
Today’s Date Scientific Method Notes What is the scientific method? The scientific method is an objective step-by-step way of looking at natural events. When anyone has a question about the world around them, they can use these methods and procedures to explain and answer that question. The scientific method can also be used to prove (or disprove) the statements of another scientist or person. The process requires observable evidence and data.  Why was the scientific method developed? The scientific method was developed to help scientists organize the process of solving problems and conducting experiments. You need to be able to answer these questions in your own words for the quiz.

15 You need to be able to put these in order on the quiz!
Identify a problem or ask a question. Do background research Develop a hypothesis that offers an answer to the question. Test your hypothesis by doing an experiment. Record your results and analyze your data. Report your results. Share what you learned and what you might test next.
