2. Better Teams
Transfusion Safety Managers are in place for Regina/South Sask (Paula van Vliet) and Saskatoon/Northern Sask (Elaine Blais).
We are delighted to announce that Dr. Oksana Prokopchuk-Gauk has been recruited to the Saskatoon Health Region, and will take up a combined transfusion/clinical hematology position in April/May 2016.

3. Better Care
Revisions and additions to Saskatchewan TM Resource Manual are ongoing.
Pilot of SK Immune Globulin Optimization Program is ongoing in Regina Qu’Appelle HR. We have learned a great deal and are making adjustments to the process. Saskatoon specialist groups will be engaged for final review and approval prior to province-wide roll-out.

New Saskatchewan TM Website to be launched later this fall.
We are looking forward to using this new channel to communicate with patients and healthcare professionals throughout the province.
