1. Brewery Visit to York Brewery

Sixteen members visited the York Brewery. A welcome drink was provided on our arrival in the Tap Room. A brief tour of the brewery was then undertaken and the process of brewing was very well explained by our guide James. We then were allowed a further six taster drinks during which a much anticipated pie and peas was served. The beers tasted included:
Guzzler 3.6% / Yorkshire Terrier 4.2% / Missouri Gold 4.0% / Otherside IPA 4.5% / Centurion’s Ghost Ale 5.4% plus one that was brewed to celebrate 20 years of brewing at the company at Toft Green, Micklegate. The group particularly appreciated the Guzzler and Yorkshire Terrier.
Everyone enjoyed the experience and most have already indicated their wish to be included on the next brewery visit.
