Who are Street Angels? Bedford Street Angels are a part of national Christian initiative to offer a non-judgemental listening ear, and practical support to all the vulnerable in the towns night time economy.

What has UK Street Angels discovered? A reduction of Anti-social behaviour and Violent Crime. A more pleasant atmosphere in the towns of this country. 42% reduction in Halifax each Friday and Saturday evening. And the story continues in other towns

Bedford Street Angels in its first year has seen… A growing reduction of Anti-social behaviour and Violent Crime. A developing friendly atmosphere in the town. Some excellent forging of relationship with Bedford Borough Council. 21% reduction in Anti-social behaviour each Saturday evening.

A typical night 10.00pm – Welcome and time of prayer 10.30pm – 12.00am – First Street Patrol session 12.00am – 12.30am – Back at base for refreshments 12.30am – Second Street Patrol session Ending by approximately 3.00am
