3 Adding an Outcome Have your outcomes for your course ready (copy and paste) Go here: Gavilan intranet>course Sample SLO from ENGL1A: Apply analytical reading strategies such as summarizing, annotating, interpreting, paraphrasing, synthesizing, and responding to texts, including identifying and evaluating the author’s thesis, methods of support, audience and tone. Click on course Click on “Outcomes” link

5 Adding an Outcome Create Outcome

6 Adding an Outcome Add criterion and set mastery/calculation method

7 Create a Rubric

8 Create a Rubric Open Outcomes

9 Create a Rubric Completed rubric for SLO purposes

10 Align an Outcome with a Rubric
Find and import the outcome to the already created rubric Attach a rubric to an assignment Do not have to include values into assignment grade
