2. Purpose
To create, update and delete Substitute Stock Number.

3. Background
Is an optional method for allowing one stock number to be used instead of a preferred stock number.
Try to set a Substitute Stock Number up early so that it is available when the preferred stock number is unavailable.

4. Situation
The Warehouse Officer has directed you to create a substitute stock number in support of the Warehouse Operations.

5. Substitute Stock Number1
Navigate to Catalog Mgmt tab.
(1) Click on the ‘Substitute Stock Number’ option.

6. Substitute Stock Number2
(2) Click on the button and the ‘Add Substitute Stock Nbr’ Form opens.

7. Substitute Stock Number3
(3) Click on the button and select the preferred Stock Number.

8. Substitute Stock Number4
(4) Click on the button and select the Substitute Stock Number to be added.

(5) Click on the button to expand the record.

(6) Click on the and buttons to make any adjustments and deletions
