4 Safe Space Work with the Street Pastors to seek expansion of the SS
Ensure that other capable guardians in the ENTE understand the role of the safe space and utilise it fully Taxi Marshalls interact fully with Street Pastors to help vulnerable people Ensure safe space(s) are fully supported by paramedics – co-location Ensure safe spaces are able to provide appropriate sign-posting to treatment and support services. Design behaviour change interventions to maximise value of the safe space ‘teachable moment’ Ensure taxi provision from safe spaces is safe, available and responsive to potential needs

5 Engage with the whole of the ENTE partnership staff
Ensure all high-risk venues have undertaken vulnerability training Expand provision of vulnerability training to food outlet staff Expand provision of vulnerability training to bus, tram and taxi staff Ensure response teams and ENTE officers are fully aware of vulnerability issues, including for drugs issues Expand vulnerability training to university halls and campus staff Establish a ‘virtual Doorwatch scheme’ through innovative use of social media and technology Exploration of taxi safety issues with a view to overcoming barriers to safe taxi use, prosecuting both operators and users Work to sustain and expand Club Hosts/Drinkaware Crew in Nottingham

6 Preventing selling to drunken persons
Support work in the Central Area of the city to address street drinking driven by drunk sales. Design and implement a PSPO to ban open space drinking Maintain new street drinking multi-agency case conferencing arrangements Design and supply drunk selling materials for retailers in the style of the ‘Challenge 25’ scheme

7 Sharing Intelligence To further embed the functions and outputs of the (the LAAA 1 output) the NTE Insight Hub. The Hub now forms part of the Community Protection Intelligence Team (CPIT), co-located with the Police Intelligence Team at Radford Road Police Station Develop new lines of ‘soft intelligence’ and insight from ENTE partners including door staff, Street Pastors, transport staff and cleaning teams Utilise CPIT profiles and models to prioritise joint partnership inspections further to the Community Protection 2016 Safer Entry Profile Ensure that civil tools and powers are considered for ENTE offenders, especially with regards to sexual offences and hate crime Make full use of Emergency Department (ED), Ambulance Service and Public Health data to map and monitor risks in the ENTE

8 Designing out crime Utilise novel tactics to further demonstrate the risks posed by the illegitimate use of motor vehicles in the Lace Market area of Nottingham City Centre Development of a suitable business and intelligence case, in consultation with stakeholders, design proposals for pedestrianisation / traffic restriction of the Lace Market area Expand street lighting to areas of need to reassure ENTE users and enhance CCTV quality Develop designated taxi pick-up/drop-off spaces to be managed by the Taxi Marshalls and monitored by CCTV
