3. Attaches to the frame
The BEAR Stair Chair has two sets of frame straps. Blue for the top and gold for the bottom
Attach the Blue straps first. Doing so will prevent the device from sliding down during the application process. Attach the Gold straps to the lower frame of the stair chair.

4. Specially Designed Slide
After attaching the BEAR to the chair, it should look like this.
Make sure the top wrap fits into the specially designed slide pockets.
The specially designed slide helps assist the bottom wrap to draw up tight to the patients thighs and hips.

5. Attaching the Abdominal Straps
Attach the Red and Blue straps first
Attach the Green and Yellow straps last. The straps can cross or go around the chest. Each application might be different.
If possible, each application should use the manufactures
recommended straps with the BEAR unit.

6. Going Down Stairs Make sure to use good lifting techniques
when moving large patients down stairs.
