5. DAY 1 (17/1/ 2018) 0700 hrs Departure from MIGS 1000 hrs
Kek Lok Tong (Buddhist temple, Mount Rapat, Ipoh; huge cave in the limestone hill made up of light grey to white crystalline Kinta limestone)
1130 hrs
Ipoh Geological Museum (fossils, rocks and gemstones and information on geoheritage activities and geographical features in Malaysia)
1230 hrs

Royal town
* Kuala Kangsar river on Balai Gambang Cempaka Sari, a royal barge used during the coronation of the Sultan of Perak. Students will then adjourn for brief stops at the Ubudiah Mosque, Iskandariah Palace and Istana Kenangan. Final stop will be at Labu Sayong cottage industry centre for traditional pottery making.

Depart for Belum Rainforest Resort.
