6 Test protocol Describe the test protocol
Users were instructed before playing about the game (verbally). Users had to play one whole song. After the playing they were asked to fill out a questionary

7 Test protocol 2 Describe the test protocol
The test users were just instructed how to play the game before the actual playing Informal small talk during playing, so they players explained problems directly After testing users have been interviewed and were asked to fill in a questionnaire

All scales are from 1 (very bad) - 5 (very good)

12 Results [Impressions]
All female users found the game NON-ATTRACTIVE All male users found the game ATTRACTIVE

13 Results [LOADING-SPEED]
Male: Ø 3,5 female: Ø 4,25 Conclusion: The overall average of 3,9 says that the loading speed is acceptable or fast enough for the users.

14 Results [PLAYABILITY]
Male: Ø 3,5 Female: Ø 2,75 Conclusion: The overall average of 3,1 says that the playability should be improved – but if you look at the details: especially female users said that the playability isn‘t that good

15 Results [Graphics I - Fonts]
Male: Ø 4,5 Female: Ø 3,5 Conclusion: The overall average of 4 says that the users really like the fonts of the game.

16 Results [Graphics II - Background]
Male: Ø 3,75 Female: Ø 2,5 Conclusion: The male users really liked the background style – but if Tuonela would like to get more female users, there should be a changing.

17 Results [Graphics - Conclusion]
Male: Ø 4,125 Female: Ø 3 Conclusion: The overall average of 3,56 says that the users liked the graphical style

18 Bugs Some test users found out that the phone´s power-save mode goes automatically on when you play long enough Sometimes when playing, the test users accidentally pressed the volume button and had problems with the sound

19 Users´willingness to buy the game
7/8 said that they would not buy the game 1/8 (male) said maybe

20 Suggestions for improvements
More songs Songs are too long Symbols are not always clear More different kinds of levels Fix the bugs

21 Summary of results Graphics were generally found good
Loading speed was found fast Male test users found the game better than female test users

22 Summary of results Female test users seemed not to enjoy the game at all Some improvements in the playability could be done Some bugs disturbing the playing experience (e.g. power-save mode issue) But all the test users were students; you can not really say how would younger or older users had found the game like

23 Conclusion Loading speed and the graphics were good
Almost no one would consider buying the game Bugs Playiability would need to be improved, it could be made little easier to play the game; some more testing could be done
