Legal and ethical issues arise in companies between relationships of: customers, managers, employees, stockholders, suppliers, distributors, community, society, and nation state.
Customers want to make sure they are compensated fairly for their contribution.
Managers need to be watched because history has shown corrupt managers steal funds from the companies they run.
Stockholders want control over the company their money is invested in and demand ethical actions within the company.
Suppliers and distributors are watched to stop problems such as deceptive price fixing.
