9 Timeline  Early 1990s First statewide database is available – FirstSearch  1995 SLK and Regents Universities partner to provide Gale databases.  1998 Johnson County and Topeka Shawnee County Libraries join partnership. Focus groups held to obtain input from the library community. Forty libraries contribute funds to ensure continued availability of databases.  2018 Focus groups are held to obtain input from the library community.  2019 Database contracts end.
