These are action verbs that have an objects to receive the action
EXAMPLES:
Ali hit the ball. (a direct object ball receive the action of verb hit )
Jameel kill the tiger.
She baked some cookies.
I moved the chair.
I rode the bicycle.

12. Intransitive verb Definition:
These are action verbs but unlike transitive verbs, they do not have an object receiving the action.
EXAMPLES:
The bird sang.(no word after verb sang)
I laughed.
I cried.
The sun set.

13. Auxiliary verb DEFINITION: A verb is auxiliary when it
helps the principle verb.
EXAMPLES:
Ali was writing a poem.( was=auxiliary, writing=main verb)
I have been sitting since 7’O clock.
The phone will be disconnected tomorrow.
If he should arrive, tell him to leave.
Be, have, do, can, may, might, should, will, would, must
