A Benchmarking project across Australia and New Zealand which aims to:
Describe the common elements within GE-MN curricula in Australia and New Zealand,
Identify a set of agreed variables for benchmarking purposes,
Develop a robust method for data sharing and comparison for quality improvement purposes.
GEN Network identified as external advisors to the project
We are hoping to develop this work in the future to have an international focus as a method of gaining some bigger data around the GEN student/ alumni attributes.

8. NMC – New standards for pre-registration nurse education
Council of Deans - Response to 2017 briefing on funding models to support post graduate nurse education.
I am pleased to hear that you found our briefing helpful. We have been working closely with policy makers in England in particular to stress the importance of our post-graduate pre-registration programmes in addition to other routes into nursing. We are also discussing this in our submission to the Health Select Committee.
It would be worth you discussing with Fleur Nielsen, our Head of Policy (cc to this ) the opportunities for common influencing in this area after your meeting with the network.
