Objective: Create a colorful scaled poster of Earth’s Geologic Timeline.
Your Timeline must include at least the following items:
Divided (to scale) and Labeled into: Eons, Eras, Periods and Epochs (worth up to 20 points)
Numerical dates in the form of MYA “Million Years Ago” (worth up to 10 points)
Create and use a scale (ex 1 meter = 1 Billon Years)
For Each Era
Climate description (worth up to 2 points)
Major Biological Evolution Events - at least 2 (worth up to 3 points)
Major Geological Evolution Events - at least 2 (worth up to 3 points)
NC Unpacking Content facts - at least 2 (worth up to 3 points)
