On the job…? Make sure your boss cares as much as about your eye safety as you do (especially if you are doing side work that is not covered by Worker’s Comp or not subject to OSHA standards). Landscaping, car maintenance, construction, etc. all put your eyes at high risk….but don’t compromise your eyes for a few bucks after school. You have the right to keep your eyes (and the rest of you) protected. 1

You can’t walk around all day in safety goggles, and injuries can happen suddenly. Why take a chance in a situation you KNOW might be dangerous???? Protect your eyes from chemicals, burns, impact injuries and infection. Be smart: it only takes a second. BUT 2
