We entered into Title III, Year 4 Improvement in Fall 2011
SLUSD is now required to:
Conduct a comprehensive needs assessment of our English Learner program (completed November, 2011)
Analyze Achievement Data using the English Learner Subgroup Self-Assessment (completed November, 2011)
Develop a Title 3, Year 4 plan, identifying high leverage strategies to increase student achievement for ELs (1st draft submitted to Alameda County Office of Education on 12/21/11; Final draft approved by school board on 1/10/12. Will be submitted to state on 1/23/12
Implement Title 3, Year 4 plan with quarterly monitoring from the state (begins March 2012)
