External sharing and group guest membership
11/29/2018 6:22 AM External sharing and group guest membership Current default for group connected sites Very soon, a group creation time check… Decoupled from Office 365 Group guest membership setting If tenant allows guest members in Office 365 groups then allow external sharing in SharePoint Otherwise, default to ‘Allow sharing with external users already in your org directory’ When connecting a site to a new Office 365 group, we will keep your current external sharing setting as-is, but will notify if there is a mismatch © Microsoft Corporation.
