november Attend Pathways in Motion Day @ RHSS – November 1st
University Applicants can begin registering an account on (watch video tutorials) You will need: OUAC PIN (from Counselling – approx. mid-November) Social Insurance Number (SIN) OEN Student Number Complete Mailing Address Form of Payment (credit card strongly recommended)

December Finalize your program choices for both university and college applications! Choices should be REALISTIC! Ensure you are meeting all of your diploma requirements: Credits – Compulsory + Optional Literacy Requirement COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS!

January University Application Deadline – January 17th (11:59 pm)
APPLY EARLY! School sends your marks to OUAC and OCAS electronically at predetermined dates throughout the year

February College Application Equal Consideration Deadline – Feb. 1st
APPLY EARLY! Recommended last date to make any changes to your OUAC Application including – Feb. 6th (not a deadline): Program changes Additional university/program choices You may begin receiving early offers NOW! CHECK REGULARLY – INCLUDING SPAM AND JUNK MAIL

March, April, may… Offers will continue to be sent
Deadline to confirm offers of admission to an Ontario College – May 1st Latest date you can expect a response from an Ontario University – May 29th Once you have accepted an offer, you should apply for Residence and OSAP

June Earliest date you may be required to respond to an Ontario university offer of admission and give a financial commitment – June 1st Tuition Deposit due at Colleges – June 15th Admission Information Service (AIS) available on – early June to late August

Entrance Scholarships – no application necessary Other Scholarships: Research Guidance Office – Scholarship Binder and Scholarship Appraisal form Advocate for yourself – ask around The Essay Letters of Recommendation Transcripts and other documents Be mindful of deadlines!

OSAP - Loan A LOAN IS MONEY THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY BACK, WITH INTEREST.
OSAP loans are based on family income and assets. Funds received may be limited or non-existent. Information on eligibility and deadlines can be found at:
