Instructions On each trial you will see three words that you are to try to remember Following the three words, you will see a 3-digit number (for example: 526) As soon as the number appears, you are to begin silently counting backward from that number by threes (526, 523, 520, 517, etc) Keep counting until you see a set of question marks—they are your cue to write down the 3 words that began the trial This same procedure will continue for several trials.
