Wealth (Revelation 3:17); “because you say I am rich and have need of nothing…and don’t know that you are wretched, poor, blind, naked….. (Why did He say this? A continuation of verse 16….)

See Matt. 6:24 (can’t serve 2 masters); John 6:27 (don’t work for what perishes); Luke 12:19-20 (I’ve got stuff….I’ll take ease. “You fool….!”)

Verse 14 – which came first…before security? Man’s reciprocation! “BECAUSE he has loved Me, THEREFORE I will deliver him.”
