Presentation on theme: "Focal renal artery stenosis Post stent placement"— Presentation transcript:

1 Focal renal artery stenosis Post stent placement
Pre-operative studies included abdominal duplex revealing high grade renal artery stenosis. Pre-operative BP 200/100 necessitating nitro infusion intraoperatively. Planned procedure: Abdominal aortogram with possible renal artery angioplasty and stent Actual procedure: Introduction of catheter into aorta 2. Introduction of catheter into first order abd vessel 3. Abdominal aortogram with selective right renal angiography 4. Right renal artery angioplasty and stent with Genesis X18mm stent Listed as: Angioplasty / Aortogram Post stent placement

2 Rt. Hypogastric artery aneurysm exclusion

3 Introduction of stent graft Post AAA stent graft
AAA stent graft performed under general anesthesia via bilateral common femoral artery cutdowns. Introduction of stent graft Post AAA stent graft

4 Multiple focal iliac lesions Post angioplasty/stent
Pre-operative studies included diagnostic arteriogram by radiology. They correctly identified the diffuse nature of the disease and consulted us to perform the procedure as they knew that it would also require open revascularization due to CFA disease. Planned procedure: Abdominal aortogram with pelvic angiography, Rt common iliac artery and external iliac artery angioplasty and stent with CFA endarterectomy with patch angioplasty Actual procedure: 1. Rt. CFA cutdown 2. Introduction of catheter into aorta 3. Abdominal and pelvic angiogram 4. Rt. CIA and EIA angioplasty and stent 5. Rt. common femoral artery endarterectomy with patch angioplasty Listed as: Not Listed Multiple focal iliac lesions Post angioplasty/stent
