2. What is a synonym?
A synonym is words or phrases which have almost the same meaning.
For example, Large and big; small and little.
Synonyms are great for spicing up sentences by finding larger words to mean the same as already used words! 

An antonym is words or phrases which mean the opposite of each other.
For example, big and small; large and little.
These can be used for context clues.
