Additive Color Theory The rules that regulate what colours are produced when 2 or more colours are added together. Red, green and blue are the primary colours in this theory. If you add 2 primary colours together, you get a secondary colour

Additive Color Theory Used on a daily basis in Televisions and computer monitors Every pixel, no matter what colour, is a combination of Red, Blue and Green in varying proportions.

Subtractive Color Theory
Light is filtered or absorbed to create a new colour. The colour that we see depends on what parts are not absorbed (are reflected) Used everyday in colour printers

Magenta + Cyan = Blue Magenta + Yellow= Red Cyan + Yellow = Green ALL 3 COLOURS TOGETHER = BLACK
