No Role in context of Future Leaders Program Petrochemicals New Technology Team to support development of new digtial technologies to support our advantaged manufacturing agenda Role Purpose Accelerate digital transformation in Petchems manufacturing through refinement of digital strategy, driving execution of proof of concepts, industrialisation of digital tools and integration with existing manufacturing excellence programs. Develop and apply data-driven solutions deriving value through optimised production, provide real-time predictive failure enable safety and reliable operations. Apply ‘Agile’ project approaches to drive adoption of digital opportunities . Team membership The New Technology Digtial Analyst is a member of the New Technology Team. The team has accountability for creating a technology portfolio to deliver technology options across both the near and longer term time horizons to enable the growth and resiliency agenda in Petchems . We evaluate and recommend new technology participation options and are a key conduit to BP Group Technology and other BP teams to leverage broader BP technology capabilities. We are tasked with developing a Digital strategy in the area of Intelligent Operations and work closely with RTE to progress the digtial agenda in Downstream. Specific Role Description Support the refinement of digital Intelligent Operations strategy Driving execution of proof of concept projects in Petchems including optimised production, provide real-time predictive failure, digtial safety and reliability Identify new opportunities to develop and apply data-driven solutions in Petchems manufacturing Evaluate the success of proof of concepts across other BP groups in upstream and downstream to develop plans for industrialisation of digital tools in Petchems Apply ‘Agile’ project approaches to drive adoption of digital opportunities in an efficient and timely manner Leadership skills and technical competencies (aligned to a Distinctive capability) Leadership Expectations and behaviours Maximizing value: Take ownership to create enduring value through identification and delivery of opportunities.
