Sharing your desktop If you are the presenter, you can show your entire desktop or choose to show just a selected file or PowerPoint slideshow to everyone in a Skype for Business meeting. When you share your desktop, everyone participating can see your entire desktop including notifications. You should also note that while you are presenting, your Skype for Business status is automatically changed to Busy, all instant messages and calls are therefore blocked. At the bottom of the conversation window, click the Present / Content Share icon From the Present tab, select one of the following: To share the content on your desktop, click Present Desktop... Select the desktop to share, and click Present On the sharing toolbar at top of the screen, you can: Click Stop Presenting when you want to stop presenting your screen Click Give Control to share control of your desktop or program with the participants Click the pin to hide the toolbar and have more space To select an option from the hidden toolbar, move your mouse to the top of the screen and when the sharing toolbar appears, use any of the controls you need, or click the pin again to keep the toolbar visible Present PowerPoint Slides During a meeting, you can open and share a PowerPoint presentation. By uploading the presentation in the Skype for Business meeting, you can annotate slides, have someone else take over as presenter and check your presenter notes. Click Notes to see your presenter notes during the presentation – these are only visible to you as the presenter Use the annotation tools (click the pencil in the top right) to draw, highlight etc. Click Stop Presenting when you are finished

Skype for Business Advanced Features Whiteboarding You can share ideas with the people in your conversation / conference call using a whiteboard. From within a conversation (IM or call), click on the Present/Share Content button: Click More Choose Whiteboard Click to see Participants If you click to see participants, you can see more controls: Participants can use the annotation tools to write, type and draw: You can save your whiteboard file. Co-Authoring From within a conversation (IM or call), click on the Present/Share Content button: Click Co-Author Office Doc… You will see a warning: Click Ok Browse to find the document you want to co-edit. You will see the Skype conversation as well as the document: As you edit the document you will see the names of the people editing and a colour-coded cursor to indicate where they are working: You can continue your conversation while you work. Your document will automatically save.

7 Competition outline ‘Skype bingo’
   Competition: Teams of up to 10 ppl for Skype Bingo – so will need to register team by a certain date. Must take screen shots of at least 5 activities. Winning team gets pizza for lunch!
