SITUATION
With the changing environment and evolution of the Cloud, retailers wanted to move their back office servers to the Cloud. There were many expected benefits for this move. One advantage was to get rid of the high capital cost of hardware. Other benefits include the ability to scale-up the hardware as and when needed, and have access to data from anywhere, anytime.

LumenSoft responded to the needs of their customers and made Candela RMS compatible with the leading Cloud solution AZURE. Now Candela Back- office can be configured on Azure Virtual Machines making it easily scalable as when required by the retailers. No upfront capital cost is involved and there is no risk of hardware being obsolete. Moreover, Azure server contains built-in SQL Server database facility which helps boost up performance of the application as both (Candela and its database) exist on the same server. .
