5 Key concepts and terminology changes
Case – there is only one active case per child. Plans – there are no more plans like in KiDS. The only plans in ChildStory are out-of-home care case plans and family action plans. Engagements – are a container for a group of records and include: contact records transfer records triage records cases.

7 Logging in Access ChildStory from your computer:
sign into Citrix then open ChildStory no password required. Will need to request access to ChildStory thru Staff Support Centre, if you do not have the ChildStory Icon you will need to log are request to MyIT also thru the Staff Support Centre to get the Icon in your Apps.

14 Creating Person & Updating Person Profile
Create a new person – choose your own name Update / add Address Add Phone Number to Communication Contact Informations Add Birth Certificate or Identifier

15 Adding a new person You must search for a person before adding them (to avoid duplication) Note: Only add a new person from this search screen. There should only be one person record for each person There are four possible person roles: child/young person reporter (mandatory reporter) other (family members, carers, persons of interest) service providers (employees of service providers).

17 Person group Person Groups allow us to record information across multiple cases Use ‘Person Group’ to group siblings or children in the placement Don’t use Person Group for other groupings If a child is part of a person group, when you create a record in their case, ChildStory will ask if you want that record also attached to the other children in the group A CYP can only be the “Subject” of one Person Group A person can be the “Member” or multiple Person Groups You could create a Person Group of your WAM attendees for example Show Person Groups in Navigation List
