Simple Tenses Shows that an action occurs regularly
Present: Touch, Pass, Kick/Touches, Passes, Kicks The teacher passes out grades every Friday. Past: Touched, Passed, Kicked The player kicked the ball in the goal. Future: Will Touch, Will Pass, Will Kick The players will touch the lucky rock tomorrow.

Perfect Tenses Shows that an action or a condition was completed at one or more indefinite times in the past Present Perfect: Have/Has + Past Participle I have traveled before. Past Perfect: Had + Past Participle We had traveled there before. Future Perfect: Will Have + Past Participle You will have traveled there before you die.

Progressive Form Expresses an event in progress (event still going on)
Only have to add a form of “To Be” + Present Participle I am reading this horror story.

Practice We practiced every day before the competition.
Verb? Simple, Perfect, or Progressive? He has traveled all around the world. I am playing in a baseball game right now.
