1. Chapter 14 Andrew Jackson and the Growth of American Democracy
As a class, Read 14.1 page 257- Essential focus question,
“How well did President Andrew Jackson promote Democracy?”
As a class pg. 1 in student packet, The Hunters of Kentucky, questions 1-3.
Groups As a group you will read your section and fill-in student notes thoroughly for speech bubbles, and questions.
Groups are responsible to teach class, in a creative way the section you are reading. Rap, skit, song, poem, power point, etc. After presentation groups will display the section under doc camera so class can take notes.
Each group will decide on how to incorporate information from the section. Groups must work together and include every member.
Groups will get a poster board to answer the theme of the essential question, focus on how to display a promotional advertisement with pictures, slogans, creative words and phrases. Use information from your section.
