Success Criteria: Choose a typical day in your life during the holidays or a weekend for more variation Take a photograph of every product you use…. To narrow down slightly only products which you can pick up (eg NOT your bed and the carpet) Make sure the photograph is clear of the product and be able to see clearly what it is (no busy backgrounds if possible) Upload the photographs to your google drive and copy and paste them into the next slide of this slideshow Arrange images so they can all be seen, try and keep in proportion and scale

Task 2: Choose one of the briefs below and design a range of suitable products. Make sure ideas are innovative and creative. Annotate them with possible materials and manufacturing processes and add notes to help explain how they would work. Work on A3 paper and add colour neatly to your ideas. Entertainment Entertainment is an activity that holds the attention of an audience and provides enjoyment. The most common forms often involve music, drama or dance, and this can be on a small or large scale. You have been approached by a designer to address one of the following design challenges and design an innovative product: Design Challenge One: Many people enjoy entertainment outdoors. There is a need for a portable product for people to use to sit down. The product should take up minimal space when not in use. Design Challenge Two With increasing awareness of the need to protect personal belongings a product is needed to protect personal belongings when attending different forms of entertainment. The product must be easily transported. Design Challenge Three Children and teenagers often get bored. There is a need for a portable product that can provide a family with entertainment when outdoors. The product should encourage physical activity. Design Challenge Four Refreshments are an important part of entertainment activities. A need has developed for some packaging which can also have a useful secondary use.
