All rocks are classified based on how and what they are made of.
- Like potatoes: mashed, baked, scalloped, etc.
- Each come from a plain potato, but were made differently

of Rocks are:
igneous
sedimentary
metamorphic

7. 1. Igneous: made from cooled lava or magma.
2. Metamorphic: rocks change under high heat and pressure.
3. Sedimentary: when sediment is squeezed together.
