Cleopatra plans to go to war alongside Anthony
Enobarbus is against this
Cleopatra disregards his opinions
Hear news of Ceaser taking Toryne
Anthony wants to fight Ceaser at sea.
Camidus and Anthony’s soldier warn Anthony to battle on land
Will only do so if they lose the sea battle
Camidus and the soldier complain about Anthony’s foolishness
They prepare for land battle while putting most of their forces at sea
Basically:
Shows how bad of an influence Cleopatra is on Anthony.

Anthony
Anthony’s devotion interferes with his duties:

Refuses to follow advice of Camidus and his soldier.
Enobarbus’ speech
“Your ships are not well manned…”
Ignorant - “By sea, by sea.” “I’ll fight at sea”
Mostly 10 syllables - signifies structure
