ORIGIN Project HORIZON european initiative 1995-1998 OFFICE HORIZON Since 1998, it works for the socio-labour integration of disabled people, in the network of social and labour resources of Valladolid and province, with the aim of inserting occupationally disabled people and improve their quality of life.

BASIC PROFILE TO BE A USER OF HORIZON OFFICE. You have legally recognized an impairment or disability, (33%); or be in possession of a Permanent Total Disability. Working-age. Jobseekers. Improvement of employment seekers.

WORK AT THE HORIZON OFFICE PROCESSES INTERMEDIATION System of management, support and structured services to achieve the labour insertion of users. Development of six primary phases (search, analysis, evaluation, preset, exchange and monitoring). ORIENTATION Preparation of labour insertion itineraries adapted to the characteristics of our users. Referral to group actions for the development of personal skills and the acquisition of tools for job searching. Verification of personal aspects and adaptation to a position. FORMATION Management and development of the projects of training for unemployed and training actions of the entity. SUPPORT Management and maintenance of the database. Customer service, telephone, etc.

How is it done?: PERSONAL and INDIVIDUAL interview 1)FIRST STAGE: Contact between technician and person, to collect basic information –personal, academic, social, labour, economic, etc.– 2)SECOND STAGE: Personal and professional analyses; professional preferences profile; identify needs; provide resources to the person in order to reach the objectives 3)THIRD STAGE: When the person is ready to take charge of his/her own itinerary of inclusion (be aware of the level of employability); Active participation in the design of his/her own itinerary for labour inclusion. 1. Training actions are constitutive of the personal route to employment. Its objective is to improve the employability of the person through the development of technical, social and personal competences. The way to achieve it will be adapted to the training and dynamic modes of the person. 2. FORMATION

MANAGEMENT OF OFFERS EVALUATION OF CANDIDATES. Coordination with the technical guidance to meet and assess the candidates who best fit the profile sought in the offer PRE-SELECTION OF CANDIDATES. Analysis of the compatibility of due's work (profile method). Delivery of the curriculum pre-selected to the company. Establishment of a feed-back between the company and the office to know what have been the results of the interviews. Incorporation to the job of the person selected. 3. INTERMEDIATION

SUPPORT AND MONITORING SUPPORT: support at the workplace is specific for jobseekers with intellectual disabilities and mental illness. It is a FUNDACION PERSONAS service. MONITORING IN THE WORKPLACE: continuous evaluation of the job performance of employees with disabilities to assess their suitability for the position and their social support needs. The technical support through visits to companies and contacts is done with the worker. 3. INTERMEDIATION
