Identification Identification- method used to label livestock for the purpose of individual recognition Examples: ear tag, tattoo, ear notch, brands, electronic id, neck chains, nose prints Animals that use Identification: Cattle Sheep Goats Swine Poultry

Docked Docking- Removal of a portion of the tail to prevent the anus from becoming dirty possibly resulting in disease Animals that are Docked: Sheep Swine

Debeaking Debeaking- to remove the tip of the upper mandible to prevent cannibalism and fighting Animals that are debeaked: Poultry
