Identification: The process of transforming uncertainties about the project into distinct risks that can be described and measured, to identify risks before they occur and incorporate this information into the project management process.
Analysis: Process by which a risk is analyzed, quantified and prioritized, in order to define the risk in decision-making information.
Planning: Defining the overall strategy to address the risk – Transfer, Avoid, Acceptance, Mitigation.
Track and Control: Gather data about the effectiveness of the plan and re-evaluate (if necessary).
Report: Communicate relevant data to stakeholders.
