5 He said… She said… Imagine this situation with me.
While at a school dance, Amy returns from the bathroom to discover her date, her boyfriend of ten months, dancing with another girl. She’s not just any other girl though; she’s Amy’s worst enemy and has been since their huge fight about a year ago. Amy immediately storms out of the dance, and her date is left dancing with her enemy. The next day, both Amy and her date are telling a close friend about what went down. If you are a girl, write a likely explanation from the guy’s perspective in the “He Said…” section. If you are a boy, write a likely explanation that Amy’s friend might hear in the “She Said…” section * You MUST include dialogue; this means you will have quotation marks in your paragraph!

6 Let’s Share!

7 Bell Work: 8 September 2015 Go back to your original paragraph(s).
Make changes based on what you learned today and yesterday! Can I hear your “voice” in your paragraph(s)? Is your paragraph(s) organized and concise? Are there extra details that are really not relevant to your story? Begin revising/editing your paragraph (it should already be on a separate sheet of paper). You will turn it in for an academic practice grade.
