4. What Yagrinskaya Gymnasium is?
It is educational institution which provides deep general education and all – round development.
The Gymnasium was founded in 1990
The main aim of education in our school is to ensure a learning experience which will provide students with the necessary academic and professional know-how to enter their profession or to continue education in high institutions.
Total number of students is 840 at the age from 7 up to 16.

The education in our school consists of such steps as:

More than 20 clubs starts their work after school. For example:

10. Teachers and subjects
General subjects in our school include natural sciences (biology, geography, physics, chemistry and math), the humanities (Russian language, literate, history and social sciences). Side by side with general subjects students get aesthetic education: choral singing, arts, handicrafts. Foreign language is compulsory subject.

The teachers staff is 75, majority of them are high-qualified specialists. They are very kind but demanding, a little bit strict, merry, very clever, fair. Of course they are very different and we love all of them.

Our newspaper is called “Gymnasium near the sea”. It includes a plenty of rubrics. For example, some teachers and students leave their minds or wishes in an interesting interview. All students’ improvements, all school events are published there. Unfortunately “Gymnasium near the sea” isn’t almost printed now.

Our museum exists a lot of years. There are many exhibitions which content pleasant information about school from her first days of foundation. And pupils are interested in renovation museum’s expositions.

17. Sport
Active and healthy way of life is greeted in our school. Annually “The day of Health” is held. Students go to campaign. Such festivals as “Sport Winter”, “Forward, boys!”, “Sniper”, “Small Olympic Games”, “Merry Starts” have great success. We have good equipped gym. It is various and light.

So we have told you about our Gymnasium. In conclusion we should add that it is rather modern school with well equipped labs and classrooms (especially, English class). There are advanced pupils study here, they take part in different Olympiads. Students are taught by professional teachers. All pupils feel enormous gratitude to our teachers and school which give experience and profound knowledge for future.
