Bellwork: What is your favorite thing to eat? Or your favorite recipe to cook? Write down the ingredients you would use to cook your favorite dish. November 10, 2015 Agenda: Bellwork, Finish exploration notes, Wrap Up, RATE lesson Bellwork: Write and answer the following questions: How does the arrival of diseases from the Old World lead to the African slave trade? How does the spread of African culture influence other cultures today? Give specific examples.

November 11, 2015 Agenda: DBQ-Olaudah Equiano
Students will complete the DBQ while I am gone today. If the DBQ is not finished in class, it is for homework, and to be turned in tomorrow when you walk into class. In order to get full credit you must use RATE, annotate your documents, and use original answers (do not copy someone else’s ideas).

November 13, 2015 Agenda: CNN Student News, Review for quiz, Exploration Quiz Bellwork: CNN Student News-Write, in complete sentences, write about at least three topics covered in the news today. A short discussion will follow. Quiz: You will play Kahoot today for your quiz. THIS IS INDIVIDUAL. Remember the questions are timed, and once you hit an answer, you can not change it. Go to kahoot.it to play. I will post the code once everyone is there. If you do not have a phone, you will sit outside while everyone takes their quiz. You will have to come back at 6th, 7th, or after school to take your quiz.
