Training and Mentoring For Businesses
Industry Skills Fund The $664mil Industry Skills Fund: Provide up to 250,000 training places and support services, including literacy and numeracy and mentoring Support SMEs (inc micros) to diversify and improve competiveness The fund supports businesses to access innovative / RTO delivered training using a co-contribution model Funding allocated through a competitive process This programme is delivered by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training and is available through business.gov.au

Innovation and R&D R&D Tax Incentive Programme
Broad based, market driven entitlement program For all industries, all company sizes To encourage more businesses to carry out R&D (especially SMEs) Jointly delivered by AusIndustry & ATO Companies with turnover of <$20 million receive 45% refundable credit Companies with turnover ≥$20 million received 40% non-refundable credit Annual claims are capped at $100 million Partnerships, tax exempt entities, and Sole Traders & Trusts are excluded
